С каждым днем все больше и больше новые информационные и коммуникационные технологий внедряются в различные сферы человеческой деятельности, включая образование. Одной из таких технологий является видео-подкаст, под которым понимается короткий по продолжительности, записанный обучающимися или созданный профессионально видео-файл, распространяемый в цифровом формате в сети Интернет. Рассмотрены основные типы видео-подкастов и их классификация в соответствии с рядом параметров: содержательной направленностью, сегментацией, методикой обучения и ориентацией учебного процесса. Приведены факторы, обуславливающие преимущества использования видео-подкастов в обучении иностранному языку. К ним относятся: актуальность использования видео-подкастов, отношение обучающихся к использованию видео-подкастов, влияние использования видео-подкастов на процесс и результат обучения. Описаны дидактические свойства видео-подкастов и их методические функции. К дидактическим свойствам относятся: размещение в сети Интернет на сервисе видео-подкастов; возможность создания собственной группы в социальной сети «ВКонтакте» для размещения видео-подкастов и ее модерация; возможность размещения и удаления комментариев пользователями. Данные дидактические свойства имеют соответствующие методические функции: запись студентами видео-подкастов для учебных целей на иностранном языке; создание собственной группы в социальной сети для размещения видео-подкастов и их группового обсуждения; модерация группы в соответствии с предпочтениями обучаемых; индивидуальная работа при создании, размещении видео-подкастов и их обсуждении; ограниченная доступность видео-подкастов для авторизированных членов группы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>At the present stage of the development of the information society, the issues of the informatization of education acquire special significance. Every day more and more new information and communication technologies are being implemented in various spheres of human activity, including education. One such technology is video podcast, which the is described as a video file of a short length, recorded by teachers or professionally created, and distributed in digital format on the Internet. The main types of video podcasts and their classification in accordance with a number of parameters are reviewed: content orientation, segmentation, teaching methods and academic focus of the learning process. The factors that determine the advantages of using video podcasts in teaching a foreign language are cited. These include: the relevance of using video podcasts, the attitude of students to the use of video podcasts, the impact of using video podcasts on the process and the result of teaching. The didactic properties of video podcasts and their methodological functions are described. Didactic properties include: uploading to the video podcasts service in the Internet; the possibility of creating your own group in the social network “VKontakte” for posting podcasts and moderation; the ability to post and delete comments by users. These didactic properties have corresponding methodological functions: recording students video podcasts for educational purposes in a foreign language; creation of own group in a social network for posting video podcasts and their group discussion; moderation of the group in accordance with the preferences of students; individual work while creating and posting video podcasts and discussing them; limited availability of video podcasts for authorized group members.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>видео-подкасты</kwd><kwd>информационные и коммуникационные технологии</kwd><kwd>лингводидактика</kwd><kwd>информатизация образования</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>video podcasts</kwd><kwd>information and communication technologies</kwd><kwd>linguodidactics</kwd><kwd>informatization of education</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Титова С.В.
