THE STUDY OF THE MILITARY SPORTS BOARDING SCHOOL STUDENTS’ SOCIALIZATION OF THE MILITARY INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL TRAINING

Abstract

The relevance of pre-university educational institutions students socialization study of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense is caused by social and psychological difficulties which teenagers face when enter educational institutions of the militarized type and effective means of pedagogical influence can help in overcoming that. In the development of such means it is necessary to focus on the specifics of teenagers’ socialization in the conditions of training in the military cadet schools, for understanding that the presented research was conducted, the purpose of which was to identify the characteristics of socialization of the students of the Military Sports Boarding School of the Military Institute of Physical Training. Socialization was researched due to appropriate evaluation of internal and external manifestations of socialization. The criteria of internal manifestations of socialization were presented by self-attitude, self-image in the time term, value orientation of the individual. The criteria of the external manifestations of socialization were: attitude towards school, relationships with others, sociometric status. The study applied the methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of data on special literature, testing, questionnaires, mathematical statistics. Based on these data, it was concluded that a more harmonious manifestation is identified in internal criteria of students’ socialization and, in particular, cognitive and affective components are more highly-developed in comparison with behavioral ones. In addition, by the results of the research the applied diagnostic means were analyzed for their informative value, after which they were shortened to optimize a further research in other pre-university educational institutions of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense.
