Abstract
Relevance. Currently, there is a deterioration in the health of the younger generation, including students. Conducting classes with students of special medical group B requires constant monitoring of the reserves of the body functional systems. The purpose of the study is to determine the level of workload for choosing effective means of preventing various diseases, improving the health of students through physical education.
Research methods. Based on the theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature and systematization of a wide range of Skibinskaya, Rufier and Robinson indices, the levels of reserves of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems of students of special medical group “B” with various diseases were revealed.
The results of the study. The levels of reserves of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems of students with various diseases that need to be taken into account when organizing physical education classes with this category of students are identified and substantiated.
Conclusion. Physical education classes for students of special medical group “B” should be organized taking into account the level of reserves of the cardiorespiratory system, and are primarily aimed at increasing them, regardless of the disease.
